Summary
Despite the name of this bill, it has nothing to do with preventing rape in prisons. The bill would prohibit the housing and transport of Transgender inmates based on their gender identity.
Status
HR1015 was introduced on February 5, 2025, and assigned to the House Judiciary Committee the same day. The text of the bill was not presented until March 6, 2025.
