Devoted Webinar #5 in a series of 6: 2 ministry leaders discuss differing theological viewpoints on sexuality
About this Event
*New for 2020*
You asked and we delivered! New this year: Two Views of Sexual Ethics: a conversation between 2 ministry leaders with differing beliefs regarding what the Bible says about same-sex relationships. We are well aware that difficult questions inevitably arise in these conversations, and theological disagreements regarding sexuality often divide churches and destroy relationships. Our conversation partners for this event are some of the most gracious, compassionate, loving people we have encountered here at LOVEboldly. We are confident you will be enlightened by what they have to share and inspired by how they navigate the difficult questions regarding differing interpretations of how we are called to steward our sexuality.
Greg Coles will moderate a discussion of “Side A” theology (Affirming – God blesses same-sex marriage and romantic relationships) vs. “Side B” theology (Traditional – God calls LGBTQ+ Christians to lifelong celibacy or heterosexual marriage), and the pastoral implications of each. We will have a time of Q&A with attendees in the final 30 minutes of this webinar.
