Melinda Garza Moran

Melinda Garza Moran is the Vicar for St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD, and a Master of Divinity student at Luther Seminary.  She is seeking ordination in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) for Word and Sacrament with the Southern Ohio Synod. Melinda lived in Lebanon, OH, before she began her internship with St. Mark's. She was an active member at her home church, Prince of Peace Lutheran in Loveland, OH. She has faithfully served and advocated for the LGBTQIA2S+ community since 2013 with various non-profit organizations in Michigan and Ohio, including LOVEboldly. Melinda is a mom, a nani, and a passionate Latina who enjoys working with diverse communities and is committed to social justice and racial reconciliation.
