Status
HB262 was introduced in the House on May 13, 2025, and was assigned to the House Community Revitalization Committee on May 14, 2025. The bill had its first hearing (sponsor testimony) on June 3, 2025, and a second hearing (opponent testimony) on June 10, 2025. There is a rumor that the chair of the committee does not plan to resume testimony on HB262 until after the General Assembly's summer recess.
