SB34 would require school districts to display images of at least four (4) of nine (9) "historical documents" in all history and social studies classrooms serving students in grades 4-12 including the Mayflower Compact; The Declaration of Independence; The Northwest Ordinance; the mottoes of the United States and Ohio; The Ten Commandments; The Magna Carta; The Bill of Rights; The United States Constitution; and The Articles of Confederation. The bill also allows schools to accept private donations to erect monuments or displays serving the whole building.
