US Senate Bill 1957 (S.1957) - The No Place for LGBTQ+ Hate Act

Restricting the effect of and funding for executive orders targeting the LGBTQIA+ community.

Why Should Christians Care?

Summary

S.1957 would cancel the effect of and restrict funding to Executive Orders 14168 (defining two "biological sexes"), 14183 (ban on transgender people in the US military), 14187 (restricting gender affirming care for people under the age of 19), 14201 (barring transgender women and girls from sports), and 14190 (requiring schools to erase acknowledgement that Trans people exist). S.1957 is the sister bill to HR3708.

Status

S.1957 was introduced in the House on June 4, 2025, and was assigned to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee the same day.
