Before joining Stonewall Columbus in October of 2022, Cass worked in healthcare as an Operations Manager and a Clinical Liaison for a national complex rehabilitation equipment company. During her time there she not only served as the main point of connection between the equipment vendor and their largest referral source in the nation, but she also created and co-chaired their LGBTQIA+ employee resource group.
Cass was born and grew up in Louisville, Kentucky until moving to Columbus in 2016. In Kentucky, she worked as a volunteer for Louisville Pride and ran a small donation driven only café for local LGBTQIA+ people. In Ohio she attended events along with other members of Free Mom Hugs and became an official volunteer for Stonewall as the 2022 Columbus Pride march chairperson, organizing and leading over 17,000 participants. She is now the Director of Administrative Operations and Pride Event Coordinator at Stonewall Columbus and organizing her 4th Pride in Columbus.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Business Management and has worked in leadership and management roles for over 25 years. She resides in the Columbus area with her partner, youngest daughter, and furry children Pie and Earl, and has biological and chosen family all over the US.
