A Hope for Today and Tomorrow

April 29, 2024

Happy Monday, my friends! Since starting Monday Moments on November 1, 2021, I have never missed a Monday. Yes, there have been several of these reflections written on Sunday night and even one written very early on Monday morning, but they have always been ready for distribution at 5:30am on Monday. Last week, the confluence of a paper for class (for which I had no motivation), a sermon for church, which I had to write, and Monday Moment plus all the other things going on that needed work and response, I became totally overwhelmed. So, I have no real reflection for you this week except a hope for today and tomorrow:

The sun'll come out Tomorrow

Bet your bottom dollar

That tomorrow there'll be sun

Just thinkin' about Tomorrow

Clears away the cobwebs

And the sorrow 'til there's none

When I'm stuck with a day

That's gray and lonelyI just stick out my chin

And grin and say, oh

The sun'll come out Tomorrow

So ya gotta hang on

'Til tomorrow come what may

Tomorrow, tomorrowI love ya tomorrow

You're always, a day away

The sun'll come out Tomorrow

So ya gotta hang on

'Til tomorrow come what may

Tomorrow, tomorrow

I love ya tomorrow

You're always, a day away

Tomorrow, tomorrow

I love ya tomorrow

You're always, a day away

~Lyrics by Martin Charnin

Blessings on your weeks, my friends! Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Faithfully,

Ben
